Chisala Secondary School now boasts over 450 pupils, many of whom are boarders on the site.

The existing water supply was proving inadequate for the number of children now studying in school. So, we proposed that a second bore hole be dug for the school.

The cost of the bore hole – £2,000 – was been approved and paid for by the Education Department Northern Region, and works were completed.

After DATUM approved finance for the remaining aspects of the system – including, electric pump, steel water tower and storage tank and all associated distribution pipe work – works started on site.

We are pleased to announce that the new supply became operational in March 2022.
