This project is now successfully completed and twenty-seven boys and girls now have access to education for the very first time.

Project Cost: £4000

There has never been a school in the village of Dola Para, in the remote Bandarban hill district of Bangladesh. The children received no education.

DATUM working with the local charity Humanitarian Foundation decided to build one.

The school comprises two classrooms constructed from a locally cut timber frame and profiled steel sheets. Teachers’ desks and low benches for the pupils, and all required learning materials have been provided. The project is now successfully completed and twenty-seven boys and girls now have access to education for the very first time.
