Datum installed a clean water supply system at the secondary school we helped to build in Chisala, Malawi
In 2014 DATUM were delighted to achieve the BPEC Life Award of £10,357 which enabled our team to install a clean water supply system at the secondary school we helped to build in Chisala area of Malawi. As part of the school development DATUM constructed four toilet blocks, two for both boys and girls – providing clean and safe, toilets, urinals and handwashing facilities.
This vital funding enabled us to include a solar panel and pump, water tower and water cisterns and sand filtration systems.
The funding also assisted in the development of a plumbing workshop facility, helping supply the necessary tools and materials to assist in the teaching and learning activities.
